Who We Are

Flobamora Community Perth is one of the Indonesian socio-cultural community-based in Perth, Western Australia.

The name Flobamora itself stands for Flores-Sumba-Timor and Alor. Four big islands in East Nusa Tenggara province -Indonesia. However, East Nusa Tenggara Island not only consists of these four islands.

East Nusa Tenggara Province comprises 320
islands, and one of the islands, Rote Island, is very close to Darwin-Australia.

Until now, Flobamora Community Perth has approximately 200 members.

What We Do

— We Unite

The community was founded by Mrs. Maria M.A Doy in 2007. The purpose of the community is, firstly, to unite the East Nusa Tenggara Province diaspora, who lives in Perth or Western Australia

— We Promote

Secondly, to promote the culture of East Nusa Tenggara Province in Western Australia.

— We Preserve

One of the main focus of the community is to preserve the tradition and potential of East Nusa Tenggara Province that prioritizes the character-building to support each other in a multicultural environment.

We hope that the Flobamora community will make a real contribution to Indonesia, particularly East Nusa Tenggara province

For the past 13 years, our community actively did some cultural activities, especially the activity that connects Australia and Indonesia
